At Marca, the quality of processed abaca is essential. We ensure that our raw materials are handled with great care and attention, from certifying supplying plantations to final quality evaluation. Moreover, our stripping-defibering processes are carefully certified to ensure that they are carried out with the highest quality and precision.
We conduct rigorous quality testing on every batch of fiber produced, evaluating its strength and color to ensure that all customer requirements and specifications are met. Also we have a rigorous process to control fiber cleanness and humidity level. At Marca Abacá, we strive to obtain the best possible quality of abaca fiber and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Agricultural Best Practices
Marca Abacá is guiding local producers towards them achieving an Agricultural Best Practices Certificate (BPAs). For 2024 all the abaca fiber exported by Marca Abacá will be certified by the Government of Ecuador through the BPAs, making it possible to ensure to our customers that all our export fiber comes from agricultural, environmental, labor and corporate responsible suppliers.

Panatlantic provides certification for the cleanliness of every container, conducts K9 inspections to prevent contaminations, manage port handling and offer all necessary export assistance, ensuring that we can serve the costumers freight requirements with efficiency and professionalism.
